Acne vulgaris (commonly known as Acne) is a genetic skin condition induced by changes in the pilosebaceous units at puberty or later stage of life. Three out of four children might have Acne if both parents had it. Acne can be of different levels; severe Acne is inflammatory, whereas it can also manifest in non-inflammatory forms. Acne lesions, commonly referred to as pimples, zits, or spots. The common acne lesions are inflammatory pustules, papules & nodules, and comedones. Some of the large nodules are called “cysts,” and the term nodulocystic is used to describe severe cases of inflammatory Acne.

Results may vary from one individual to another and what products they are using. Also, how consistent you are with your skincare plays a significant role in the success of the results. The Acne ER products will create a difference in your skin when used consistently for 2 to 3 months. Results may be seen sooner or later during each case or depth of Acne.

Even during winter, dangerous UV rays may penetrate through clouds and windows, making you vulnerable to harsh skin damage. Sun damage can lead to wrinkles, dark spots, and even skin cancer in some cases. This is especially the case if your skin is not protected against harmful UV rays. So, SPF needs to be applied daily!

Yes, darker skin does produce more melanin compared to fairer skin tones, but that only protects against sun damage up to a point. Dark skin is also sunburned and can develop skin cancer. This is why a high SPF UV sunscreen is critical for all skin types.
